Adelis is an active partner in creating value at small and medium-sized Nordic companies. Adelis was founded in 2012 with the goal of building the leading lower middle market investment firm in the Nordics. Our name, Adelis, is a loose combination of the Latin words meaning bold (audax) and trustworthy (fidelis), but the full word also means "noble" in Germanic. We believe our name reflects both our values and our ambitions well.

Adelis believes that "great companies are built on great partnerships." Their thesis centers on investing in well-positioned small to medium-sized companies in Northern Europe and transforming them into national, European, or global champions. They focus heavily on niche markets where they can leverage their extensive experience to drive industry consolidation, digitalization, and international expansion.
