What they do

Launched in 2020 as a partnership between pan-European VC firm Ventech, Abeille Assurances, La Ruche, and Banque des Territoires, Alliance for Impact (AFI) is a hybrid "Day-One Impact Launchpad." It bridges the gap between purpose and profit by combining equity-free acceleration (AFI Factory) with first-ticket seed funding (AFI Ventures). Operating as an Article 9 fund under the SFDR, AFI Ventures leverages Ventech's institutional weight and network to support early-stage impact entrepreneurs. The firm has quickly become one of the most active early-stage impact funds in France, with over 40 companies in its portfolio, and is currently expanding its footprint across Western Europe.

AFI Ventures invests in impact-driven startups reimagining every sector of the global economy in a fairer and more sustainable way. They target ventures driving systemic change across three core pillars: Climate Action, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Social Changes. They seek high-potential seed and pre-seed founders who operate at the intersection of "for profit" and "for good," explicitly looking for companies that can demonstrate a resilient, scalable economic business model alongside measurable, systemic impact KPIs.
