What they do

Boldcap Ventures LLC is a venture capital fund focused on investing in early to mid-stage companies, primarily in the healthcare and technology sectors. The investor base is comprised exclusively of highly accomplished professional women based in the NY area. We meet quarterly with our 40 individual investors, who play a supporting role in sourcing and evaluating investments for the fund and most importantly in adding value to our portfolio companies. By leveraging the talent, experience and contacts of our investor network, we open doors for our portfolio companies and provide them with invaluable strategic support. We typically invest together with other venture capital funds in financings of $5-$15 million for companies seeking growth capital to fund operations or acquisitions. Although it is not a requirement, we expect that many of our investments will be in companies that are managed by women or whose products or services target women.
