CAV Angels is an angel investing organization that provides funding and education on investment in private, early-stage companies in the technology and healthcare sector. It accelerates investment by members of the club in early-stage growth companies founded by, owned by, or managed by the University of Virginia alumnus. CAV Angels aim to help advance the economy by investing in entrepreneurs with exponential ideas and to generate attractive financial and non-financial returns to its committed base of investors who help them. It was established in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2015.
