What they do

Generous Minds is a unique "Steward Owned" cooperative based in Amsterdam that bridges the gap between consultancy and venture capital. Unlike a traditional VC firm, Generous Minds operates on a "Covestment" model: they provide high-level expertise to impact entrepreneurs and often accept equity in exchange for these services, or reinvest their fees back into the company. They act as a powerful intermediary, preparing companies for investment and then syndicating deals to their "Integrated Capital Network" of over 3,000 financiers.

What they look for

Their thesis revolves around "Good Business"-supporting companies that solve societal or environmental problems while being financially sustainable. They believe that combining "Minds" (expertise) with "Money" (capital) significantly de-risks impact ventures and accelerates their success. They look for "Impact-driven" companies that contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), explicitly targeting ventures where the business model is the impact model.
