Overview
What they do
Established in 2019, Linnéa Capital is an angel investment company and micro-fund managed by the Uppsala Innovation Centre (UIC), one of Sweden's top incubators. The fund is backed by Saminvest alongside a curated network of private business angels. It serves to bridge the critical funding gap for early-stage companies by offering an initial capital injection to startups admitted to the UIC Accelerate program. While UIC itself remains neutral and takes no equity, Linnéa Capital acts as a catalyst, enabling selected business angels to make follow-on investments alongside Saminvest.
