Founded in 2016 by Andrej Srsen and Seppo Savolainen, Straightforward Capital was established to help Finnish technology companies scale globally. The firm focused on early-growth stage companies, taking a highly concentrated, hands-on approach by leading rounds and securing board seats to guide strategic development. Despite an initial stated vision to "unleash €1B of global growth in the next 10 years," the firm only made a handful of investments in its founding year and has since ceased deploying new capital. Today, the entity appears to exist primarily to manage its legacy stakes, while its partners deploy capital through other European investment vehicles.
