Overview
What they do
The Swiss Entrepreneurs Fund was launched in 2019 as a joint initiative by Swiss Mobiliar, Credit Suisse, and UBS, operating under the patronage of the Swiss government and the Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation. It is a FINMA-regulated vehicle designed to bridge the growth-stage financing gap in the Swiss innovation ecosystem. The fund employs a dual strategy: deploying roughly two-thirds of its capital into third-party Swiss venture funds (Fund of Funds) and the remaining third into direct minority equity investments in scaling Swiss companies. The direct investment mandate is exclusively managed by Helvetica Capital AG.

What they look for
The fund aims to strengthen the Swiss technology and innovation ecosystem by providing venture and growth financing to companies with a clear link to Switzerland. They focus on Switzerland's core innovation sectors: Healthcare, Digital, and Engineering. They target high-growth companies that already have a product on the market and an established customer base (generating revenue), with headquarters or a significant portion of their value chain in Switzerland, and pursuing a global expansion strategy.
