Theodorus Investment Funds is an investment fund platform originally created by Université Libre de Bruxelles to group its participations in university spin-offs. The funds focus mainly on early-stage, high-potential spin-offs of ULB, while also remaining open to other innovative start-ups. They invest in companies based on proprietary disruptive technologies, primarily in biotechnology, medical, and high-tech sectors. Following the extension of Theodorus IV into Canada, the Canadian team launched a successor fund, while Theodorus V will concentrate on the ULB start-up and spin-off ecosystem.
