Founded by serial entrepreneur Michael Ciaglia, Universal Technology Capital Partners (UTCP) provides financial and strategic support to small and mid-sized emerging technology companies. UTCP primarily provides capital investments through equity buy-ins and cash buy-outs. Occasionally, we will blend debt and equity to meet the needs of our investment partners or acquisition company. UTCP partners with institutional, high net worth individuals and family offices to fund opportunities. Our partner investors are able to participate with UTCP in specific investments that match their focus and strategy. Sometimes we act as the sole agent for a particular investment partner helping to source a deal based on a specifically-defined investment profile. UTCP does not operate as a holistic fund but rather a series of deals all structured under SPVs. Separate SPVs provide tighter financial management, fuller acquisition performance transparency, and greater accountability for company management.
